Thiolife is more than a product line, we are sounding the bell for revolution. Many people assume aging means sacrifice, but that's simply not true. With over 15 years as a patient, advocate and researcher, Miss Lizzy gained unique insight into the myriad of thyroid related issues that affect people as they age.
"For years, I assumed my frustrations were due to aging or being a mom, but that simply wasn't true! I needed to find the right balance so my body could work in harmony with my mind, heart, and spirit. I was exhausted all the time and couldn't think my out of a paper bag. So it took deep determination to find answers. But every day I am thankful I didn't give up." - Miss Lizzy
The biggest mistake that men and women can make is thinking these frustrations happen because of age and that's just "life." It's true that as people get older the thyroid-gland may be working hard than it once did, but it's our mission to inspire hope that your best days could be ahead of you!
For women into their 30s and beyond, they may notice their body changing in ways they assume are age related. Daily activities like grocery shopping may seem harder. Afternoon naps might be a necessity instead of nice treat. They might find their clothes are fitting tighter, and relying more on leggings as their main wardrobe option. Some women may feel their thinking isn't on-point like it used to be, or they are forgetting things. Other women might feel their hair is losing its youthful shine and volume, or their outer eyebrows require penciling to appear thick. Cold hands and feet may be so much a part of life that a woman assumes this is typical.
For men into their 40s and beyond, they may notice subtle, but equally frustrating, changes. That inner fire may not be as powerful as it once was. Where once they could stay up all night and go hard the next day, they may find more sleep still doesn't quite light the fire. They might have less endurance for the sports they once loved liked golf, running, mountain biking, or weight lifting.
"Now at age 48, I feel better than I did at age 30. When I eat healthy I actually see results. For the first time in decades, I am able to do things in my life that bring me joy. Like join Crossfit (and even do WODs RxD!) After years of foggy thinking, my brain is clear which means I can successfully drive my business. Instead of fueling my day with coffee, now I have enough inner fuel to take care of family -- my husband, three kids, two doggies -- and our home! There was no one magic pill, but with the right resources, I was able to bring out the version of me that was stuck inside. I love my life now, and I want that joy for each person who comes to Thiolife." - Miss Lizzy
