When you visit misslizzyhealth.com or use the HypoHero app (hypohero.app) — both operated by Miss Lizzy Wellness LLC — we collect information you provide directly. On the site, that includes your name, email, shipping address, and payment information when you place an order. In the app, that includes your name, email, the health data you track (including body temperature, symptoms, medications, and supplement use), and any labs or documents you choose to upload. We also collect usage data automatically on both through cookies and analytics tools, including pages visited, features used, time on site, and referring sources. This helps us understand how people use our products and improve your experience.

We use your information to process orders, send you the products you purchased, deliver the coaching experience in the app, communicate about your subscription, and improve our products and services. In the app specifically, we use the health data you track to generate your personalized coaching reports, to power Hero AI guidance, and to help you see patterns in your own data over time. If you take the quiz or sign up for email, we use that information to send you relevant content about thyroid health and HypoHero products. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

When you provide your email through our quiz, checkout, or signup forms, you'll receive emails about your order, your subscription, and thyroid health content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. If you opt into SMS, you can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) will still be sent as needed.

We show targeted ads on platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok to reach people who might benefit from HypoHero. You can opt out of targeted advertising through these platforms directly:

Please note that we do not alter our site's data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals from your browser.

We use trusted third-party services to run our business: Shopify for our store and checkout, Klaviyo for email, Skio for subscription management, Gorgias for customer support, and PostHog for analytics. We also work with operational and infrastructure partners to support and facilitate our business operations, including order management, marketing optimization, customer analytics, and AI-assisted operational workflows. These partners process limited categories of customer data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to use that data only for the purposes we authorize and to maintain appropriate safeguards. Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. We only share the information necessary for them to provide their service.

We use cookies and similar technologies on the website and in the app to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how people use our products. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly without them.

We keep your order information for our records unless you ask us to delete it. Health data you track in the app is retained while your account is active so you can see your history over time — you can delete your account or specific data at any time by contacting us. Marketing email data is kept as long as you're subscribed.

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. If you'd like to do any of these, contact us and we'll take care of it.

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (we don't sell personal information, but you have the right to confirm this).

If you're in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another region with specific data protection laws, you have additional rights under those laws — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and the right to data portability. Please note that if you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

HypoHero is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our practices evolve or as required by law. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will show when the policy was last changed.
